AI Agents for Business — Claude API, Tools and MCP Servers in Python
Who it is for: developers and technical IT staff who want AI that does real work in their systems — reading the inbox, querying the ERP, filing tickets — safely.
Inspired by the material we ourselves learned from (including freeCodeCamp's MCP guides and Anthropic's documentation) and by building BOSS Pacific's own inbox agent on Odoo.
You will be able to:
- Call the Claude API from Python and structure prompts that produce reliable output
- Give a model tools and run an agent loop with limits
- Build and test an MCP server exposing your own data and actions
- Add guardrails: permissions, approvals, logging and budgets
